The Dynamics of Existence
Children
One of the most rewarding jobs I ever had was to be a professional tutor and 2nd Grade Elementary School teaching assistant back in the early 1990s. When working with children in the 6 to 8 year age group it can be very rewarding and there are some definite tools that are very workable in dealing with children. There is a wonderful booklet, based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard, which provides a lot of the basics of working with children and has some wonderful insightful information about children.Tuesday, April 25, 2006
The Technology of Study
There is a great booklet that anyone can buy for $5.00 that covers some of the most basic aspects of the Study Technology that was developed by L. Ron Hubbard. The Technology of Study presented in that booklet is just one of the basic tools that a Scientology Volunteer Minister uses to help people do better in life. You can get more details about the Technology of Study from this informative booklet.Monday, April 24, 2006

Disasters Relief in Australia

Recently at the end of March 2006, our Scientology Volunteer Ministers from Brisbane and Sydney were in Innisfail, Queensland, helping bring disaster relief to the people most affected by Cyclone Larry, which was the strongest cyclone ever to make land fall on Australia’s shores. We worked with many other individuals, local officials and relief groups in order to provide assistance to help people repair their homes, to help those left homeless and to provide relief for the trauma that remain in the wake of this major storm. Helping No Matter What
The relief effort that was put forward in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 was the largest we Scientology Volunteer Ministers had done so far up to that point. It involved over 1,000 individual Volunteer Ministers and included many non-Scientologists who just wanted the opportunity to help and who were trained up to do so. As the relief effort continued, more and more Volunteer Ministers continued to come to the U.S. gulf coast area from around the U.S. to help and eventually we manned up as many as 38 shelters in our relief operations. We did everything we could to help where it was needed most. Here are some more pictures of some of the wonderful work we did. I was so proud of our guys in the yellow shirts. They did great!Tuesday, April 11, 2006
French Scientologists Helping In India
I just read an amazing account about a team of French Scientologists, who traveled to Pondicherry, India after the tsunamis in December 2004 and who have stayed there to work with the community to help the local people of the affected area. It really is an inspiring story of caring individuals helping their fellow man. You can read more about the story of these Scientology Volunteer Ministers here. Good reading and very inspiring.Thursday, April 06, 2006
Scientology Volunteer Ministers Are Making A Real Difference
This web log is dedicated to all the Scientology Volunteer Ministers out there who are volunteering their time and talent to help their fellow man in their time of need. On a daily basis, around the globe and where it is needed the most, these individuals are truly Making a Difference. Their motivation is simple: they truly care. Their tools are their application of the techniques of L. Ron Hubbard to relieve the suffering of people who have experienced loss or injury - one individual at a time. Scientology Volunteer Ministers are the ones who are demonstrating by their actions that "Something Can Be Done About It!"
